So how can you upgrade to Motivation 3.0? Well, Daniel Pink’s book Drive makes the case that we all probably already know in our hearts — intrinsic motivation is a better driver than an extrinsic one…
His hypotheses that “humans primarily have a drive to learn, to create, and to better the world” would defintetly resonate with you. It was a short read but worth the read. As you look to motivate your team and look at ways to keep them motivated, this provides a good insight.
