How will you measure your life: Micro Review
As I remember Prof. Clayton Christensen this week, I re read his classic advice to his management students at Harvard — “How will you measure your life?”. More of an HBR classic article than a book, it’s a must read for if you haven’t read it (see link to article below).
As he concludes at the start “Management is the most noble of professions if it’s practiced well. No other occupation offers as many ways to help others learn and grow, take responsibility and be recognized for achievement, and contribute to the success of a team.”
It’s a great set of advice on setting time aside for creating the most important strategy that you will ever create — the strategy of how you will live your life and what metric do you use to define your success.
