Inspired: Micro review
I just put down the book “Inspired” by Marty Cagan and was surprised how quick and fun read it was.
On reflection, it’s probably because this 300+ page book has 67 chapters and is very fast paced. That’s great advice for all product owners and managers out there on 67 different aspects of product development. Marty covers a myriad of topics — different roles that a product manager has to interact with, setting product vision and roadmap (or not), different techniques during product development, product culture and the list goes on.
Marty has done an amazing job of providing a holistic view to what it takes to create & engineer a great product. As a bonus it was great to read the quick profile of some great product managers across the industry.
It’s a great read for any product manager or product owner.
